Musical Director
Sheila Dursley
Sheila is our new musical director at Sounds Like Fun having held the baton for a year back in 2016. She had fun back then and is continuing to promote the fun theme since her return! Sheila is multi-talented: not only is she a great conductor, but she sources and arranges fabulous music for us to sing, is webmaster along with quite a few other things that go on behind the scenes! Her love of choirs began at an early age under the watchful eye of church organist and master of the choristers, David Jackson. Studying clarinet and piano with Mark Walton and Tim Arnold at the University of Chichester, Sheila has enjoyed a career in teaching music and leading choirs in schools and communities along the south coast.

Administrator
Diane Cecil
Diane is our wonderfully efficient and un-flappable administrator. She is also multi-talented, providing us with a warm welome each week, keeping us up to date with absolutely everything, booking the venues and a whole host of other things that keep the choir running smoothly. She is also the first port of call for all our new members. Diane is relatively new to the choir herself having joined in September 2023 when she and her husband retired to the New Forest. She would argue that she has no musical experience but we know that she was a member of her school choir and has encouraged her grandchildren with much singing in both the house and the car! That's all the experience you need to be part of Sounds Like Fun!

Founder
Roz Bradbury
In a nutshell, Sounds Like Fun wouldn't exist if it hadn't been for Roz and her vision to set up a supportive group in Fordingbridge for local women, and raise funds for local good causes at the same time. She has been at the forefront of absolutely everything since the choir started in 2010, but having moved out of the area recently, decided to pass the baton on. However! Roz just couldn't stay away. She must have been having too much fun! We're all delighted that she is still part of the choir family that she has seen grow and change over the years. Sounds Like Fun is a huge part of Roz's life and we know (because she's told us) that it brings her much joy. Long may that last.

Support and Back Up!
Carol Jugg
Carol is tip-top when it comes to support. She has been a member of Sounds Like Fun for 12 years and in that time, aside from singing over 200 songs, is our social media admin and supporter of a whole host of things from setting up for rehearsals to publicity and general all-round positiveness! Carol has always loved singing; from school choirs to family gatherings - especially the old cockney songs she used to sing with her nan. She was right-hand-woman to Roz for many years while Roz was administrator and now she describes herself as back-up for Diane. Carol is a fountain of all knowledge when it comes to 'SLF' from past repertoire to, quite frankly, anything else you might need to know.
